SSP Scholarship is run by the Karnataka State Government to provide financial assistance to students from minority communities such as Muslims, Christians, Persians, Sikhs, Buddhists. The main objective of this scheme is to help poor students belonging to minority communities to attain secondary and higher secondary education.
SSP scholarship is administered by the Minority Department of Karnataka State under which the scholarship is of two types first is Pre matric scholarship and second is Post matric scholarship. Pre Matric Scholarship is awarded to students from Class 1 to 10 and Post Matric Scholarship is awarded to students above Class 11 such as Graduation, PhD students.

Types of SSP Scholarships:
There are two types of SSP Scholarship: Pre Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is available to students from Minority Communities who are studying in class 1 to 10. Post Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students from Minority Communities who are studying in class 11 and above.

After this you will Receive SATS ID.

Ans. The amount received under SSP Scholarship depends on the type of scholarship. Let us know the amount received in some major scholarships: Post-Matric Scholarship: The amount received in Post Matric Scholarship ranges between ₹ 1600 to ₹ 3500. There is a facility of fee reimbursement for backward class students. Fee reimbursement and free hostel facilities are available to minority students.

Ans. The time to apply for SSP Scholarship is not fixed but it is likely that its deadline will be 17th April 2024.
